Default Gateway should have your DG (router) If not put the IP in there and leave the Metric alone. Click on the Wins tab Change Default NetBIOS To Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP Click apply or okay

Network & Sharing Jul 27, 2019 · I think the problem is that the default gateway on the linux side should be 192.168.160.1 but since it is outside the 192.168.170.0/24 network the WSL instance ends up without a default gateway. I can connect to the router through 192.168.1.1 and have security setup etc. imy mac address shows up in the dhcp clients list. in the status tab everything looks normal except the default gateway is all zeros. So I changed the properties back to "automatically assign ip adres" and I went into cmd, I typed "ipconfig/all". It now shows NO default gateway, and it shows the ip that I copied from my laptop I immediately noticed that Default Gateway was empty. I tried a few of those netsh reset commands to no avail; either way this is a little over my head. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, and let me know if you need any more information from me. Thanks! EDIT: Also I'm using a Actiontec V1000H Modem/Router provided by my ISP.
